Hey guys,

I decided to get rid of the google ads - they seem too obtrusive and who cares about airline miles anyway

Websites don't take too much money to manage - but there are costs. For instance our VPS hosting each month is $50. There are a dozen or so sites on there but GlockForums.org takes up the most bandwidth/space.

I have a full time job, but do work on the site quite a bit each day. I think 4 banners across the top isn't so bad. Especially if they'll point you to quality Glock companies with good deals.

Anyway - I know some people don't like change.. ads.. but sometimes it's a necessary evil.

Noticed the banners today... They aren't too bad... This is a nice, friendly, helpful site... I would think Glock people would want to place ads here. We want you to stay in business!

What happened to the "This post helped" thumbs up buttons? Are they gone for good? I was just starting to get used to them.

What's the deal with Rep Power? I know how it works, but it seems meaningless with the new sliding graphs stuff... I tried to give someone Rep Points the other day and I couldn't... I guess I don't have a full point yet, so... Seems to me that you might as well ditch the old Rep Points stuff...

The other day I noticed that Boomer got 1000 Experience Points... I was just perusing the new Experience stuff... but, the purple ball never showed up in Boomer's Achievements section... Why didn't it show up? It seems that there are a limit of five icons in the user achievement section of the screen... I'm just trying to save you before Boomer comes "gunning" for you... Hahahaha...

Ever think of a feedback forum?

LOL, it shows up on my experience page, so its OK.

I do agree that we should try to get some of the good GLOCK sites like glockmiester.com, glockstore.com, glockworld.com and topglock.com to advertise. So if you have a hookup at any of these type of sites try to get them interested.

Yea, but it should show your 500 and 1000 and leave out the 100 and 250 if it only has room to display 5 icons. ...just bugs me when computer stuff doesn't work right... that actually means that it bugs me when computer stuff doesnt't work the way I think it should...

If I ever get to 1000, I want that baby showing up...
