I just tried this Winchester Ranger 124 grain FMJ for practice ammo and found it to be much better than the stuff available at Wal Mart and at a very competitive price

http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/index.php/cName/9mm-fmj-ammo

Service was great and the price and quality are excellent for what it is...

I have not used Ranger FMJ but regularly carry their JHP. They make great ammo and the price you linked looks good to me.

I have purchased a TON of ammo from ATG and they have never once let me down. They have great service and prices. They ship really fast too.

Thanks for the link.

I wanted some good self defense ammo and found a link someone had posted for another online seller... I was able to get 200 rounds of Ranger 127 +p+ JHP from this one for $27.00 per box but that's all gone now. This is a worth a look as well.... Better for self defense ammo.....

most of my locals and cabelas has the winchester 9mm NATO white box in stock. it's ok. it's hotter than american FMJ because it's NATO specs. however, there's this black crud in some of the extractor channels in each box. this is the only ammo i've had stove pipe in two different G19's.

lol and it's not limpwristing. i've fired boxes of +P+ LE ammo without issue.

never tried the brown box ranger 9mm NATO.

I'm curious about the 9mm NATO rounds... Are they 124 or 115gr? NATO 9mm is 124, right?

I shot some Americal Eagle 9mm FMJ 124gr today and my G19/4 really liked it. Much better than the WWB 115gr from Walmart.

That's the other place I get ammo from online. They have great deals on carry ammo and ship fast and accurate.
I think you posted about them before... I think you're where I heard of them initially. So far, I've bought much more from Ammunition to Go, I practise much more than I need to defend myself! Thank God!

The Ranger is 124 grain +p FMJ for practise... shoots terrifically and, in quantity, even shipped it is very close in cost to the inexpensive Remington UMC 115 grain FMJ (the least expensive option around here) ammo... I stocked up!

That really is a good deal!

It's even cheaper than WWB at Walmart... at least at my Walmart...

How is it boxed? Is it one giant box of bullets, or a box of smaller boxes?

right, NATO is 124gr 9mm loaded to american +p velocities. (hotter than american eagle 124gr)

I didn't even realize they did a FMJ round under the Ranger name...
they make FMJ rangers in 9mm & 40cal.

I have never shot +p before.

Would I be able to tell the difference shooting it?

I'm sure you would... I sure can. Not dramatic, just....lively.
