bugging out to?

I read about the bug out bags and the "go" bags ... but where do you guys plan on going?

We live near the pocono mtns so that's an option... but we'd probably stay here...

I work about 24 miles from home and with my luck things would go bad and I would be stuck there. IF anything would go south I want to get back home. Luckily most of my drive is back roads. I remember hurricane Ike and people bailed out of Houston and the traffic was terrible, roads blocked,and tough get get anywhere or anything. Anything worst happens I would want to make it home!

If Boomers wouldn't be so durn far I would head to his house!!

Im already in the backwoods. I can disappear within just a few minutes. I doubt there are too many people that know these hills like I do. Ive been here for 32 of my 33 years of existance. Good luck findin this ol country boy.

doubtful. humans are herd animals. theyll want to be close to each other.

my plan is the mountains near my town. assuming its not the dead of winter. about a 15 minute drive to the bottom. if the SHTF real bad ill bug out up there for a few weeks and after 50% of the population has either starved, left or been murdered ill be back and access the situation. natural selection will weed out the bad seeds more then not. if your the kind of guy stealing and hurting people the herd will deal with you. so by the time i show up more good people and less bad people will been around. i cant imagine the gang bangers saying "hey lets go up in the mountains" lol.. im sure there will be others there but they will be who live as a survivalist in there normal life and 99% are going to be good people.

I live in small town wisconsin and most are good people. I will stay put and see whats going on for the first 3 days or so. If I feel the need to bug out I go an hour south and meet up with friends and family. We have rough plans made but will adapt to the situation

I,m bugging in too, Tailhunter. In my former life I HAD to keep a "go bag". I keep one now, for different reasons, like if someone calls and wants to go
fishing or diving or whatever. I'll stay here and deal with it.

I plan to hunker down at home as well. I live in what may would consider the Country and would probably want to get up with some friends that are near by.

I'll just stay here in Albuquerque, maybe the gangs will give is causing problems some good targets to shoot all their ammo at, then ABQ would be nice!!!!!!!!

I always carry two pocket knives. one is 4 1/2" and the other is a 5" blades. If the right one don't get the left one will. Ha ha ha aha ha.

Already live at the foothills of the Rockies. So I'd spend a few days sheltered in place and assess. My vehicle is my BOB. Back roads to pick up my 14 year old (and I guess the ex as well???? maybe). Lots of spots to go from there where I've hiked, fished, camped, shot.
