The SF has a shorter frame. Thats what the "SF" stands for. The grip is a few mm's shorter front to back. Makes for a shorter reach to the trigger for smaller handed shooters.
A slightly smaller grip diameter. Go try one on for size...we cant tell you anything more than that Im afraid.the 30 feels good so what would i expect from the sf, my hands aren't real big?
i tried 'em both at the gun show today and really couldn't feel much difference.I can tell a big difference in the SF to the standard grip of the G30.Not that one is better than the other but there is quite a difference to me.I do shoot the standard grip more but I like the feel of the SF grip better.
i have VERY small hands, and decided to get the G29 non-SF recently. i shoot it better than my G19. the SF models just have an odd feel to me. it's all personal preference though, many folks prefer the SF frames. i had a G21 SF that i sold, just couldn't shoot it that well due to the odd grip....i tried 'em both at the gun show today and really couldn't feel much difference.
