Hey, just gettin an i idea of some fairly decent and fairly cheap range ammo, and same with ammo for on-duty (carry) for your .40 cals

I reload. No problems at all but I also make sure all my 40 ammo goes through a bulge buster before being reloaded.

for range i use walmart's federal champion, which just went up in price for $15/box, so i'm trying to find a cheaper source.

for carry: Federal HST 180gr JHP is the best 40cal on the market.

If I were buying .40SW carry ammo, I would buy 155gr Speer Gold Dots.

WWB 28$ for a 100 so 14$ for 50 at wal-mart as for carry 155 hornady TAP 19.95 for 20 or 165 hornady critical defense 20.00 for 20

If in the SE part of our country try Geogia Arms. They have new practice ammo for 14 bucks for 50 and for defence 155 and 165 GD for 24 bucks for 50 rounds and for big shooters a reloaded brass (canned heat) that is soft enought to be fine for our glocks. There out of atlanta area . They make most bigger gun shows and ship to your door.
