My personal opinion is that the 19 is the best all around 9mm package.
I'm new to shooting Glocks and would like to shoot some matches. What is the diff between the G17 and G19?Gen3 G19, and welcome![]()
I've got a Glock 22, but lately have been considering getting it a brother to keep it company. I'm wanting to get a 9MM, but debating as to which model. Any pros or cons on either?
G17 is a full size Glock... actually it's the same size as your 22... G19 is a "Compact" Glock... a litttle shorter barrel... a little shorter in the grip... a little less distance between the sights... and the 19 has a ribbed trigger!I'm new to shooting Glocks and would like to shoot some matches. What is the diff between the G17 and G19?
http://www.glock.com/english/index_pistols.htmAt present I shoot an XD9 and like it. Tried a G34 and it was lighter than the xd9 bet the G19 is like a feather.
What are the barrel lengths vs sight radis?
I agree with JB... But then that's the only Glock I've ever shot.... But I do like it much better than my Sig P226!I have both a 17 and a 19... I like them both, but the 17 is my favorite... The 17 should be a better match gun, but a lot of people prefer their 19... You can't go wrong with either one!
So what about Generation and the rtg?http://www.glock.com/english/index_pistols.htm
There's a link to the Glock pistol site. Click the "Models" menu item and then click the image of the pistol you're interested in... then click the "Technical Data" tab on the following page. It will have all the measurements for each Glock pistol...
Did you keep the factory sights on both?I agree with JB... But then that's the only Glock I've ever shot.... But I do like it much better than my Sig P226!
a'men!G17 and don't look back.
There you go. A very nice offer. Enter two classes and shoot both if you can.clp,
if I am able to make it to the November match, I will bring my 17 and 19 for you to handle. All of my Glocks are Gen 3 pistols.
