Until I got my Glock it was my P89. Now the P89 is unhappy in the safe with the Colts and others that don't often see the light of day, unless I need more ammo for the Glock
HAHAHAHAhahahaha!

Depends...

I generally carry my Sig P220, but I'll grab my Kimber 1911, or my Springfield 1911 V-12, I also had a Colt Commander 1911 but it's actually too small to carry for my liking so I got rid of it. I now have the Glock 23, and I like the feel & weight of it for carry but I have to fix the magazine problem before I stake my life on it. Anything I carry is mag full +1, and spare mag. I am ALWAYS ready to repel border's, lol.

I try not to switch my carry weapon. The problem we see is most people dont truly train enough with their "main" carry gun, let alone a second one.

while it may not be a big deal switching from say a g19 to a g16. Both pistols are identical in their operations so most everything carries over from one pistol to the next.

Say that you are switching from a G19 to a bersa .380. Now under stress you are dealing with an external safety that your not used to and things like a smaller mag well which can complicate reloads.

Or if your use to running a weapons light on your full size but not on your alternate carry. Are you practicing low light techniques with a hand held?

Personally Id rather train hard with one gun, have faith in my abilities to run it and carry it always.
