What do you think Obama will do now that North Korea has openly attacked South Korea?

At most, he'll want to talk about it. Ask everyone over for a beer on the White House lawn.

He will do nothing other than give a speech condemning the North while stating we firmly support the South. That's about it for now. He is already on shaky ground with the folks at home and can't risk his future (or that of his party) by getting us openly involved in another conflict.

However, I suspect we already have boots on the ground (and prob already did) in the region working in secret. Isn't that the case everywhere?

The "domino effect" is no longer a valid excuse for a war and South Korea has nothing we want. The US will let them fight it out. We won't take action until N.Korea builds an accurate ICBM or starts turning out quantities of weapons grade plutonium. We can't figure out how to get out of Afganistan, yet alone figure out a stratagy for Korea.

Yeah, it has been 50+ years and we are still in Korea. No exit strategy for there either.

i think Obozo will run his big mouth, act arrogant, and that's about it. oh yeah, he'll probably send our "ambassador" over there too:

north korea has always been a greater threat to america than anyone in the middle east, as they have already developed nuclear capabilities. not to mention their disturbed leader hates america and believes he's god.

we should have taken care of them, rather than wasting our resources in iraq. yes, saddam was a lunatic that killed thousands of innocents, but it's not our job to police the world, and he was no threat to the US. he didn't have anything to do with 9/11, nor did he have the infamous "weapons of mass destruction".

South admitted they pushed alittle to hard. Hopefully we stay out of it as we cannot sustain yet another war. Lets bring our young men and women home and straighten out our own mess before telling other countries what they can or cannot do IMO
