how much snow did you end up getting, occam? i keep hearing conflicting reports from the weather 'tards.
We only got a couple of inches in most places, but the freakin' -31 windchill was just a bit much. Supposed to be a high of 9 tomorrow. Woho!

see that's not bad snowfall. i've been hearing everything from 7inches to 2 feet around here on various news channels. the temp here is already 15 below with the wind chill, and it's blowin hard.
The mountains have gotten hammered this year, but Denver metro has been relatively dry. We're actually under for the year. That's one secret we try and keep, Denver really isn't all that bad in winter. We get some snow for a day or two, but then it's sunny and gone. Short drive up the hills if you wanna play. Still, I've lived from Kodiak, to Washington state, DC to Miami and raised in San Diego. Of all the places I've lived this has one of the best qualities of life overall. Though I am starting to feel the cold more as I "mature".
I hear CO is a really nice place to live, only bad thing is the high cost of living.
Just please keep it away from Virginia Beach VA this time. Both our snow plows are down for maintenance right now and we'd be screwed.

I do certainly miss VA Beach. Having lived on the coast my whole life till I came here I do get those feelings of missing the ocean. But then I took a trip back San Diego, holy crap. It was a great place to grow up in 60's and 70's. Now you can't even get to the beach without walking between condos. CO cost of living isn't nearly as bad as the major cities. Denver's still a big little town. Stock show is a huge event, which of course none of the locals go to. Last time I filled up I paid $2.78.

Hmmmm..... I just looked outside, and it doesn't appear that there's any snow. Might even have to turn the A/C on.

Brrrrrr! It was 50 here today...had to wear a light jacket! ;-) (Phoenix)
Traveling for work. South Alabama. Warm today near 60 but just had a pretty bad thunderstorm. Torando watches through midnight.
yea.. It's crazy here in NM. I went to work just for them to say we are on a 2 hour delay then to go home at 11...

Hopefully no work tomorrow

I totally agree. I'd much rather just leave the windows open and forget about the A/C.
it's at about 4-5 inches so far. that's a mean wind blowing now!
It's Obama's fault! Someone has to say it
Dang... That's something I haven't seen in a while...
