I had one for nearly 15 years until I got stupid and traded it away. Fantastic revolver, built like a tank. I actually prefer them to the GP100 that replaced it...

The one thing i see on line is people dont like the grip. To skinny i guess. I actually like it. I could try a different grip and put the original back on of i didnt like it. Hogue still makes about 100 different options for it. Thx for the feedback ngib

I just want an affordable revolver..... I've been looking at the GP 141 and even the Blackhawk convertible .357/9mm. I don't plan on carrying, just a range gun and maybe nightstand gun. I would like a GP in 9mm but there is no such animal... I am liking the thought of a wheel gun more and more....

It is a very affordable option for a revolver. Sure they are not the greatest and newest thing. I saw a blued service six just yesterday that they wanted $240 for. You cant get a 357 magnum for any cheaper. Plus it is going to last. They are very dependable. I got my stainless six for $370. Thats hundreds less than just about any other newer 357 mag out there. Ive always considered my glock the revolver type semi auto when it comes to reliability. I do love my glock but its hard to argue about the beauty of a wheel gun. I think i want one of everything!! Lol
