Rob et al ... if this is deemed inappropriate I completely understand and will not in any way be offended if you delete this thread.

I will be participating in a 5k event along with my wife and daughter on November 13 here in Atlanta. The event is to raise awareness and research funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Please see the link below for additional information or to make a donation.

I am walking in memory of a very close friend, co-worker, golf & beer drinking buddy, Jerry Midden. We lost Jerry very quickly last December to Pancreatic Cancer.

Clearly from the totals I haven't really put much effort into raising funds myself other than posting a link on my FB page. I mostly just wanted to be there with my family (and his) on this day to honor him. We will all be walking as part of "Team Jerry" in matching "Team Jerry" t-shirts.

Talk about tore up ... you should have seen O when I told her "Uncle Jerry the pancake man" had passed. We always made it a daddy-daughter thing when Jerry's Lion's Club had their fund raising Pancake Breakfasts. O and I went twice per year from the time she was born until he passed.

Great event today. There were prob around 1,000 runners/walkers. I have no idea how much $ was raised in total but I believe "Team Jerry" raised over $6k at last count. We had t-shirts with my friend's pic on the front. It was a great time.

On the Home Tab, go to the Styles group. RIGHT CLICK Normal, then click Modify. In the middle is "formatting". And you'll see single space (has 3 horizontal lines directly on top of each other), next to that is 1.5 space (the 3 horizontal lines are a little wider apart) and next to that is double space (the 3 horizontal lines are even wider apart). Click of course single space if that's what you want.

Down at the bottom it will say "only this document" or "new documents based on this template"...you decide which you need of course.
