Is a Polymer 80 G17, different dimensions than a Glock G17 ?




I have been using a leather Don Hume IWB holster for some time now, I had a thumb snap retention strap added to it and my G17 fits nicely.

Yes. I have a G17 OWB holster that fit my gen 2 but the Polymer 80 won't fit in it.

I am going to assume that means it is physically larger in some respects as to a Glock.

Depending on the holster maker, much of the retention is based on the trigger guard (especially in kydex), and the grip angle may also be a factor.
