I was an Olight fan and have a lot of their lights, I even have a number of posts here about them. But their customer service went to crap. There's nothing special about them - they are decent lights at fair price, but those are available from other mfgs so the customer services cause me to move away from Olight.
The other thing that happened was the Texas winter power outage. I realized that super bright flashlights with 2-3hr run times are not what you need when you are without power for more than a couple of hours. I've started buying lights that balance brightness with longer run times (aka moving from "tactical" lights to camping lights). Olight's "low" power saving settings on the lights I have are pretty close to useless.
