No idea. My username had to be different there because my typical username was already used. Maybe some other members here that have accounts there could try to log in and see if they are still active.

i was banned a long time ago from GT (no idea why either lol). i still go one there to read threads now and then. you don't have to be a member to do that. i've seen glocky on there posting about his malfunctioning g30sf LOL

i don't think i'll re-register, really don't want to post on there. people on there are argumentative, and the admin is an obnoxious turd lol

some of the people on there do the most retarded things to their glocks too, like putting them in the dishwasher (submersing your gun in water is never a good thing, nor is coating your dishwasher with gun chemicals/lead), or putting car wax on them (there's a new thread on that one LMAO)

OK - like I said, don't really care, but WTF over. And you're right I like everyone here much better. You want to see some argumentative folks go over to 1911forum.com. Holy crap, you'd think most of those guys knew John Moses Browning personally! Much better and realistic site here (except for that Don Glock guy).

I was once banned by one of the 1911 forums. Can't even remember which one. I posted some true facts about Les Baer lying to me and a trashing the pistol I bought from him.

I guess Baer was a financial supporter.

As far as I'm concerned, it's kind of a badge of honor.

yeah, I tried registering but to no avail. After clicking on the confirmation link they sent me, I never got an email saying that a mod activated my account. I tried for like a month, but nothing.

Anyways, I still read some of those threads and yeah, they seem kinda impolite to one another. And really? Who needs that?

i just pull them off posts on various forums. where people find them originally is a mystery to me as well lol

15 Seconds of fame is a powerful thing. It's actually pretty sick here in the US now. People will do and say some of the dumbest thing if they think they will get on TV, or in the news.

I prefer the people here. We have good guys and gals that are helpful and supportive IMO
