I'm building up my glock 34 and replacing parts. is there a way to buy another frame and slide or do I have to buy a new 34?

You can order a replacement frame/slide from Glock if something is wrong with yours. There are also after market complanies out there making parts also. Lonewolf is one that comes to mind immediately. I will see if I can find their web address for you

When getting a new slide be sure to get the Glock chanel liner as well. If you don't it wont work

That's great thank you very much. I'm taking out my trigger assembly and replacing the barrel in my 34. I was hoping that I could just buy a new frame and slide and put these pieces back into it and have another 34. Does this seem at all possible or am I biting off more than I can chew? My luck there is a hole lot more to it than that.

Yeah, you can do it. I don't think it is hard to do at all. Like I dais make sure to get the Glock channel liner though. As far as not being sure how to do it there is lots of info out there. Especially on sites like youtube.com some of it is good info some not so good you just have to dig through it all. But there is instructions and video on detail stripping and reassembling Glocks on there. Good luck and if you need help just shoot me a PM or something. I will help ya out
