First is a Smith & Wesson Border Guard

-These knives really suprised me with the quality, they came razor sharp and the fit and finish is great, almost no blade wobble and the lock up seems very strong.

Very nice!

What is the round object on the first knive's blade? Is that the kicker? I don't see what it's used for...

Yeah, the round object is a thumb disk. It also has a flipper so I am planning to remove it as soon as I get to work (dont have any torx bits here).
