New in New York

Greetings from Rochester, NY. Just upgraded from a Colt Trooper Mk III to a Glock 19. They're tellin me to keep my left thumb out of the way and my right index finger out of the trigger gard?!~~

Sodus is just West of Fair Haven, right?
