Hey guys I just bought my first Glock its a Glock 17 RTF2. I have extensive firearms experience and have shot many many guns before including several glocks but now that I own this one can you guys tell me what are some popular modifications people make with these?

Welcome aboard. Some people do all sorts of crazy things to Glocks. The only thing that I do is install night sights on mine. Unless it is a match gun. Then it gets a 3.5 lbs connector, titanium firing pin safety, match springs, titanium striker, and a smoothed out trigger. That however, is not something that I would nor would I recommend using for self defense. It just makes the trigger too light.

First, welcome to the forum....As far as mods go night sights should be the first. As for "popular modifications"there are just so many that you would think it was a 1911,ext. mag release, ext. slide lock, trigger job ect.ect......just pick what works for you.

welcome, from another newguy :)

on my g19 RTF2 i have the low power plunger safety spring from wolff, the ghost tactical 5lb connector with overtravel stop, and the jentra grip plug. took out the wolff extra power trigger spring as it made reset a little sluggish.

Wow thanks for all the quick responses and the friendly welcomes guys. The night sights I am planning on doing soon as well as a ghost rocket connector and the local smith who is also a glock armor is going to do a full competition trigger job on it for me for $80 is that a good price?
