Well I took my safe queen Kimber down to a local gun shop looking to maybe get a trade outta it. The owner agreed and I took about an hour looking through what was there. They had a 36 that I was at first really interested in. But after I finally got my hands on it, I was turned off of it because Its not and SF grip and was just too big in my hand to feel comfortable. All else that was in the case for Glocks were a couple of 26s, a 17 a 21 and 21SF. I was starting to think well crap theres nothing I want. Then the owner said hold on, went in the back and came out with a just delivered, brand new 27. The deal was my Kimber for the 27 with 2 mags, 2 Pearce Finger Groove mag bases + $200.00 and I walked out a happy guy. I did take a loss on the Kimber, but sometimes for me I dont mind a loss when Ive made up my mind.

Nice addition. I dont sell or trade my guns anymore. I just buy new ones. I always regret it after I sell em.
Thanks. Now I just need to figure out what mods. Im thinking a 25 cent trigger job & feed ramp polish, Scherer SLUGPLUG2, set of XS Big Dots, maybe a LaserMax guide rod laser and some more mags. And I might have to work the trigger guard like my 23.
congrats on the 27
That sub-compact is one of Glock's best shooting guns. I was surprised at how good it really shot. Love it.

Congrats on the new blaster, i'll take a glock over a POS Kimber any day.
the 27's nice but imho, you got robbed and fed the kitty $200. i have a kimber classic/clackamas, purchased in '96/unfired that i've been offered $1k and turned down.

To each his own!
To each his own!
that dealer would abuse me one time with a lowball offer and i'd do what i could to spread the word that he's an ex-car salesman and not to be trusted.

Ya, I know I know, but like I said, sometimes when I just make up my mind I dont mind taking a loss because I dont feel like waiting around for something I want.
