I recently put plus 2 round extenders on my Glock 34, 17 round clips. I was wondering if I needed to change the magazine springs in the clips to accomodate the extra two rounds. Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks in advance.
I just checked the GLOCK factory parts list to see if they even offered a different spring. It appears they have 3 different springs for G17-G18-G34 mags.
SP 00448 all 17rd mags
SP 02309 10rd mags only
SP 02551 19rd mags (17rd mag with SP 07151 floorplate & SP 07165 insert)
So, in answer to your question ... maybe. I would run them as is and see if you have any feeding/reliability issues. If not, leave them. If you develop any issue the first thing I would do is try the SP 02551 springs.
