I had a friend recommend this company to me so I thought I would give them a try.
I ordered 2x 1911 mag pouches and 2x GLOCK mag pouches on Thursday of last week. The single pouches were $11.95 each. Shipping was very cheap. My total was $54.80.
The pouches arrived yesterday in a small padded envelope. I was surprised how small the envelope was until I opened it and pulled the pouches out. They are very compact. One could put a good many of these on your belt for a match or in class and not take up much room at all .... and for this price you could actually afford to buy a bunch of them.
I inserted mags in each pouch then gave it a tug to check the retention. I was really pleased with how well they held. I could hold the pouch upside down and shake it without fear the loaded mag would come out.
I only tested on on a belt to see how well it held. I did a few quick, firm grabs of the mag to pull it out of the pouch and it (the pouch) stayed put. I was slightly concerned they might wobble too much or not hold well due to the fact they are all 1.75" by default and I wear a 1.5" belt. No worries there. I think they are fine.
I read a review on another site after placing my order. The reviewer felt they rode a bit lower on the belt than he liked. I see his complaint as they do ride lower than most of the pouches I've tried. Fact is ... I like it riding lower. The mags didn't jab me in the ribs like with other pouches.
This is a very simple design that seems to work. I will continue to use my Dale Fricke horizontal pouches for EDC but these will definitely be used in classes and matches (where legal) as supplements or in place of the doubles I currently use.
