I have a nice "Range bag" that carries our guns to the range, but the plastic boxes, from 3 different guns, so to be 4, make it a really tight fit. So anyone know of a nice, less expensive single gun bag for pistols? Would like it for it to have a mag pouch.

Length must be under 11", hight under 9"

Try this one, it says it has pockets, inside and out. Not necessarily mag pouches. Looks decent for $25.

I have this one... It is made to hold two guns, but you could always just carry one... It comes with two gun rugs, too...

It has 8 AR-15 mag pouches on the long sides, it's fairly decent sized and might be bigger than what you're looking for, but thought I'd let ya know. It does the job for me and seems to be of good quality.

Not sure what you mean about leave the plastic boxes at home? I don't carry the plastic Glock boxes if that's what you mean... There is a slot on each side with a gun rug to carry a pistol... The zipper you see in the picture is for one pistol... there's another zipper on the other side for another pistol and the center opens up to three divided (or not divided) compartments...

I put a Glock in each side... my ear muffs, glasses, ammo, and sight pusher in the center and walk out the door.

Exactly. They run a lot of specials at very attractive prices, and they also run a lot of promotions. The bag I linked above was actually a freebie I received during a promotion. Vol has one that he got from a completely different promotion.
