I saw KeithD's Bawidamann Blade pics and thought I'd ask what kind of knives everybody else owns? Post pics if you can. What is your favorits brand of knife?

CRKT Ultima Knife, good price and seems like a fairly decent fixed blade.

The good old Emerson CQC7, Richard
arcinko's Rougue Warrior books turned me on to this knife, haven't been dissappointed yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's also on the cover of David Morrell's The Protector book, great read as well. He's the author of Rambo and his books are great, he also lives in Santa Fe, NM, his books are the ONLY reason I wanted to be stationed here in NM.

David Morrells' The Protector is where I first learned on the Emerson CQC-7. I first bought the book in late 2004, while I was stationed in Germany, didnt read it though until I was deployed in Iraq over 2005. I tried to order a CQC-7, but anywhere that normally carried them all over the net were always back ordered. So, I ended up with a CQC-10. I love it and especially the "Wave" feature. It grabs the inside of my pocket when I draw it and automatically opens. It spent 10 months in Iraq with me, clipped inside my front right DCU pocket.

I have several collectors knives but the one I carry most is a Benchmade AFO that I forgot to give back when I was leaving Afganistan via medivac

That seems to be an ongoing theme for military folks leaving the "war", lots of AF guys seem to have them, lol

Yeah, I was a little busy at the time though I didn't intentionally not return it.
