Just ordered a kit for my wife and a kit for me - anyone try e-cigarettes before? I looked around the ecig forums and there are a ton of ppl who were able to use them to quit smoking..

Rob my wife bought one about a month ago and it has helped her cut down on her smoking, me on the other hand haven't quite convinced myself to quit.

You add the nicotine in the little holder and charge up the battery and your good to go. You inhale and exhale water vapor, none of the crap you get from a regular cigarette.

you can "smoke" even in non-smoking areas since there is no smoke, just the water vapor. Kinda freaks people out though.

brand name is Joye 510 made by joye tech. awesomevapor.com
They're quick to reply and ship.

LOL, I have other vices. I tried those things when I was in the Army, stationed over in Germany. I never really liked smoking. Use to go a little to far with alcohol, that and a little something personal about me, I lost a good friend too alcohol because he didnt know when to quit. Im perfectly content with abstaining from those two.

Usually, I like to get out and shoot, mudding in my Ram, riding my 4wheeler, maybe play a little bit of video games here and there. Im not much for partying or bar hoping.

Quit 3 yrs ago,it just cost way to much.I was smoking the cheap kind and it still cost me 4.50 a pack.I had a 2 pack a day habit so there was 9.00 out of pocket x 29 to 31 days ..well you do the math.Wife smoked the same 2 packs a day so you can see how it was killing my pocket book.Worst thing was that it wasn't even Marlboro's( 6.50 )which sponsored my drive to school when i was in high school.
We both quit cold turkey and have been happy ever since,so good luck.

Welllll - we got em. I can see how people could replace cigarettes with them. We're trying to get used to them - they're about the same size as a cigarette but about as heavy as a pen so it's a little weird. We've definitely cut down a little bit though it seems like so far!

How many times have tried to light it with a lighter?
