Just Ordered a G30 OD
I just placed an order for a G30 in OD. Kept going back and forth but finally decided on the OD. I figured I should have at least one OD Glock in the arsenal!! Can't wait!!

A friend at work has a connection in Smyrna. Nothing TOO special about the deal. It has to still ship to a local FFL and then I finish the transaction with my purchase permit (NC).How does that work?

I was surprised at the soft recoil of the 30 I briefly had.

I'm surprised you were able to order an OD G30, they were hard to find even when OD was still in production.
Found out this afternoon that the gun shipped today and should be at FFL by Friday. Gotta love Glock customer service!!

One thing I ordered for my 30sf but then canceled the order after glock said 10 weeks to replace, was flush mount mags... 9 rounders.. the only thing about the looks of the gun that I dont like is the mag bottom... it just looks out of place to me. Good thing its an easy change to make, and of course thats just how I see it.

I kinda like the extended mags, but I can see what your talking about as far as asthetics. But functionally, my hands are sorta large and the extra surface area helps with pinky placement.
It pinched me pretty badly with every shot... I like either my entire pinky to have a place to go, or no place at ll for it to go. The 30, for me, was in that in between area.Thanks!

Thanks guys!! Did a field strip and a little "fluffin' and buffin" tonight. Doesn't look like I am going to get a chance to shoot it until next week. Gonna drive me crazy!
