Does anyone know if there is a retail store in central North Carolina that carries Jentra plugs for a Glock 17? Brownell's has them for $6.99 but postage & handling would be an additional $5.35. I hate to pay S&H that's almost as much as the item, but I may have to.

I have heard some of the older guys protest against this plug. Stating that debris can easily build up with this plug in place and this could cause issues??

personally I think the bigger issue would be that the plug limits the operator from getting a good grip on the mag base if they need to rip it out of the magwell.

I have them in a couple of guns and don't have them in a few more. I have never had an issue with dirt or debris either way, nor have I had an issue ripping mags out either way. YMMV.

If you want a plug get it. It isn't a must but won't really hurt anything either.
