The fear was almost palpable. He should never leave California or real life might intrude.
Go read this for yourself: http://www.independent.com/news/2010/apr/11/open-carry-starbucks/"No," I said (as nearly as I can recall at this point in time). "I live in a civilian society, and having these fellows - likely good guys, so what? - practicing 'open carry' of their guns in Santa Barbara County is wrong. Ask them to leave, or to go lock up their weapons in their car. Are these weapons loaded? Do you really know who they are?"
I'll go in for half with ya, but we could probably get a Russian T-1 for about $4 grand, free shipping and maintenenace for a year...On a lighter note anybody got an Abrams A1 tank for sale? Don't get me wrong, I don't need one, but I want one.
That's enlightening. I always thought of Montana as one of the more free states. Not a problem in our Starbucks as open carry is not allowed. But then open carry is not allowed in any town or within the confines of an organized logging camp in this state. We are a 'shall issue' state, if you have had a minimum of 8 hours of instruction and are issued a certificate that you can safely handle a firearm and are not otherwise prohibitted from having a firearm. Permit replaces the need for a NICS check when purchasing a firearm but not the paper work requirements. Physical address is required as permits are issued by county sheriffs.
I don't think they come with the drivetrain warranty though.I'll go in for half with ya, but we could probably get a Russian T-1 for about $4 grand, free shipping and maintenenace for a year...
Since when is Montana not an open carry state??? I grew up in Montana, and I open carried there all the time, as did many many other people. This is sad news if MT is the state you are referring to!Not a problem in our Starbucks as open carry is not allowed.
