We get quite a few questions about posting digital images (pictures) in the Glock.pro forums, so I thought I'd write up a procedure to make it easier to do. This procedure uploads a picture (or pictures) using the Glock.pro forum software because it's easier and works very well. I'm going to make this thread "Sticky" in the "Off Topic" forum, because that's where most people seems to be looking for picture uploading information.
Start a new thread using "Post New Thread" or add to an existing thread by clicking "Reply" or "Reply to Thread" whichever is appropriate. You want to be in edit mode with a new, blank message.
Click the "Advanced" button on the lower right side of the screen.
Scroll down the screen until you see the "Additional Options" dialog.
Click the "Manage Attachments" button.
The "File Upload Manager" should pop up.
Click the green plus (+) symbol to upload a picture to the forum.
Click the "Select Files" button to pick the image files from your computer.
Use the Windows Explorer dialog that pops up to navigate to the picture you have saved somewhere on your hard drive.
Left click the picture you want to post a picture of and then click the "Open" button.
Then click the "Upload Files" button on the "Upload Files from Your Computer" dialog.
The new image should show up in your Home folder on the forum and also in the "Attachments" area.
Put a Checkmark in the "Select All" checkbox in the "Attachments" area. The "Insert Inline" button should now show up as "Insert Inline (1) showing that the image is ready to upload. The "1" will be a different number if you select more images.
Click the "Insert Inline" button and the forum software will link the image to your post... so that it shows up...
That's all there is to it... If anyone has further questions... post them here and we'll see what's up.
Hope this helps...
