Has anyone shot this ammo from Cabelas yet? It's their "store brand", manufactured by Sellier & Bellot and made in Czech Republic. 115gr FMJ, looks like brass or copper plated bullets. Muzzle velocity is claimed by Cabelas to be 1280fps, which should be fast enough to cycle properly in a Glock if I understand correctly.

I picked up four boxes to break-in my new 19, because that's all I could find. Some internet searches are turning up some negative reports, though. Just curious if anyone here has anything to report.

These days, any ammo is better than no ammo, right? What I find is that as long as the ammo will cycle the gun effectively (and ammo is not the only thing that affects this), I can figure out where to hold and shoot any ammo adequately.... That is, accurate enough to enjoy my range trip.

With better ammo one will get more consistent performance, lesser ammo... well, not so much. But, it's all shooting and that always fun! With new ammo, start at a close distance, work out POA - POI, and blast away!

I have had no problems with this ammo having used it in several calibers.
