Looking to add a few more things to my glock. Just want some suggestions on what brands are good and what I'd be spending. Nothing cheap though.

1) A tactical light
2) Lighter trigger- maybe 3.5 lbs?
3) Lasermax spring laser

well i'm fitting ghost rocket 3.5lb connector with the overtravel stop as we speak. helps a lot if you tend to shoot left with your g19 lol.

scherer 3.5lb connectors are great too, and only like $8. (no overtravel stop though).

i also have a glock oem 3.5lb one, not bad, but it's a little mushier than the ghost and scherer.

for tac lights i have my streamlight TRL-1 i paid $99 for on opticsplanet.com, best bargain/quality i could find for the price.
I would recommend avoiding the lasermax. Crimson trace is ok if you can get over what it does to the grip. If not look into the one that replaces the factory rear sight. I had a lasermax in a pistol one time and it was nothing but trouble. I called lasermax numerous times and none of their solutions helped. IE lock the slide back for a week etc.

They wanted me to send them my duty weapon for a "couple of weeks" at my expense. It would also be returned at my expense. When I tried to explain to their "armorer" that it was my duty weapon he said then "I guess I can't help you anymore." I was wished a good day and he terminated the call. Yes he hung up on me. At that point I was still being very professional and respectful.

Needless to say I ended up throwing almost a $400 laser in the trash where it belonged because oh yeah no refunds since I bought it from a dealer.(Where else am I supposed to get it? Plus the dealer was no help because he had to order it.)

Avoid them at all cost is my point there are too many other companies out there.

If you can't find a Glock minus connector give the Ghost Ranger 4.5 a look. I have one and it feels very good.

Edit. I think I pit one in goobertim's g19 as well.

How does the overtravel stop work?

Is it some kind of aid to keep the trigger back behind all the travel?

I think it's the opposite. Over travel is what happens after the break. I think it stops the trigger from going any further back once you get to the bang point. That's just my understanding though. I've never tried one.

This is correct. I didn't even install the screw in my 1911 trigger.
I recently installed a 3.5# Ghost connector. It took 15 minutes to install and costs about $30 . I also bought a KKM barrel from Glockmeister for $165...worth every penny.

Welcome to the Glock.pro forums!

How does your Glock shoot with the new connector and KKM barrel?

I also have a Glock 17 gen 4, but have only changed the sights.
I just got the barrel and haven't tried it but the connector is awesome.

Welcome Daniel! Thanks for your service.

I just put a Ghost 3.5 connector in mine last night. I can't wait to shoot it!

Who put a Ghost connector on yours .... ? :p
I wasn't speaking in specifics. I was saying (generally) that a Ghost connector was put on my firearm. :)

the pre travel remains the same, it just stops the overtravel. you still have to leave a little overtravel when you fit it. having the trigger stop right at the break in any combat weapon is a bad idea.

the overtravel bar stops the trigger bar from moving all the way back after the break.

if you don't over file it a little bit, after a couple thousand rounds when the trigger bar and connector wear against eachother, the gun won't fire. at that point, the trigger bar needs to move back just a little more to release the striker. it happens to people, and they think there's something wrong with the connector lol

Great Graphic. Thanks!
Great Graphic. Thanks!
you're welcome, my friend!

the ghosts also make the trigger pull much smoother. they're polished pretty nicely.
I went with the 3.5 Ghost, but I was admiring one of these like you posted in the pic with the cutout to clear debris.
