Thanks for everybody's input on this problem. I was able to resolve the same problem with my 19x. I have been fighting this problem for a while and couldn't figure out what was going on. It turned out that my slide sticking problem started when I installed a double diamond connector. When I disassembled the trigger mechanism, I could see that the connector was sticking out away from the side of trigger mechanism housing (the plastic triangular part) at the top. I removed the connector and tried to slightly bend the angle on the connector so that it would hug the side of the trigger mechanism housing. When installing the connector, I also made sure that it was pushed all the way into the side of the trigger mechanism housing. I am happy to say that the slide on my 19x works much smoother now.
