Did anyone else watch the season premier of Castle tonight?

Beckett actually handed Castle her backup gun... a Glock 26... They showed a close up and you could read the writing on the side of the slide...

Detective novelist gets assigned to a real life detective by the Mayor. Novelist "helps" the real detective (hot chick) solve cases and they have a non-acknowledged romance that will not be consumated until the last episode of the series.

It's not epic television, but I watch it from time to time.

Did any of you watch "Chase" on Manday night? I thought that was good...

I watched part of "Chase" but fell asleep. I recorded it on the DVR; so, I'll be able to go back and watch it.

I was part of a task force last year in which I was temporarily sworn in as a Special Deputy US Marshal and worked with one of their fugitive squads. Those guys rock, and at least this bunch is always ready to show up and lend a hand.

Wow, that's pretty cool...

I would think being a U.S. Marshall would be a pretty tough job. Seems like you would always be going after the badest of the bad guys...

Deputy Sheriffs and Deputy Marshals are kindred spirits. They just have national jurisdiction and usually better toys.
