I'm seeing around the net that the subcompact Glocks (particularly the G26) under the blue label deal only come with 2 mags. although my gun shop advised me that I will get 3mags when it comes in (speaking of the forth gen). is it because I want the Gen 4? don't all gen 4's come from the factory with 3 mags regardless of deals??

should just call Glock huh? regardless, I'm buying a fourth gen G26, and if it comes with 2 I'm buying a third (maybe a forth too).

the subcom blue labels in gen3 have always come with only 2 mags. however, the gen4 subcoms come with three mags, whether they're blue label or not :)

I'm thinking the 26 will fill that summer time shorts and T-shirt gap for me nicely.

Blue label in my area range from $399 -$450 w/ Standard sights.

$399 is the actual price some people mark them up to skim a little more off the top.

my range didn't screw me (I've heard some have tried to say the gen 4 only come with 2 mags under the blue label deal). I did get all three mags without question.

It's a GLOCK tupperware box that has a blue label on it. They also have white labels as well as red. Blue labels are generally reserved for a select list of Law Enforcement Officers, Firemen, Paramedics, etc. They also sell blue label GLOCKS to GSSF members. They ae generally slightly cheaper and contain 3 magazines instead of 2.

I would have to say they are always cheaper. Than the other prices.

I have seen some gun dealers take advantage of the less expensive price and increase their own cut on them..

There are two blue label dealers in town one sells them for $399 while the another sells them for $450.

That was my point. The Blue Label price for law Enforcement is supposed to be cheaper than the GSSF price. Some thing that the prince for GSSF is a suggestion however, if you read the terms in the GSSF program, they are "supposed" to price them at X, not add a few dollars to it if they feel like it.

blue labels are cheaper than gssf--if you buy them form an authorized LE Glock Dealer. however, most gunshops are not authorized glock le dealers, and pay more for a blue label, and thus pass the extra cost onto the customer. it's not a rip, they have to make a profit somehow, and there is little profit for local gunshops on LE blue label glocks to begin with. :)

most LE officers are unaware of the fact that they just need to do 5 minutes of googling/maybe a phone call to find an authorized LE dealer nearby and save some money.

Our only dealer does $425.00. Tupperware for the masses!
As others have said, blue label Glocks are for law enforcement officers, military, a host of other first responder types, Glock certified armorers and GSSF members. There is a difference between LEO pricing (including all the other groups except GSSF) and GSSF pricing.

Current GSSF pricing is $425 for a standard 9mm Glock 17 with standard sights.

Current LEO price is $398.20 for a standard 9mm Glock 17 with standard sights.

There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the GSSF pricing scheme... Some dealers don't seem to really understand it and others try to take advantage of it. It looks like the dealer selling GSSF guns for $399 is using the LEO price-list... G23SNT, if you are in the military, or a LEO, that price would be correct for you.

The GSSF pricing is currently correct and the LEO pricing is about a month old, but still correct as I understand it.

yep your right _jb.. I am military and the guy who sells them for $399 is only selling them to LE, military, first responders.

The other dealer selling them for $450 said "only LE" hence he's taking advantage or just doesn't now the difference.

im on active duty so i have to show my ID upon purchase. there is red, white labels however these are in the 550$ price rage for civis.

Glad to see that you have one shop that is treating you fairly... I'd do my best to support him and send him business
