Word is Ed's Public Safety in Stockbridge, GA just received a batch of 100 of these little babies. I will be in a pistol class with one of their employees tomorrow and am kind of hoping by some chance he will have one with him. I doubt it but am hopeful.

I saw this today, too... Very nice looking! Here's a picture and a link to them on Ed's FaceBook page... One of the few FB pages I ever look at!

sfguard is probably putting his order in as we speak!

They are pretty hot... hmm... I haven't used my 2010 GSSF credit yet... hmm... Got to think about this...

I was able to handle a Gen4 G26 today during/after a pistol class. I didn't shoot it as it was going to the sales floor tomorrow. The spring looked the same as the Gen3 G26 but I didn't have one with me to do a side by side. It felt OK but the difference in overal size of the grip with no backstrap attached wasn't as pronounced to me as on the G19.

If I were buying a new G26 anyway I would prob get one.
Would I get one to replace my Gen3 G26? Nope.

I've been thinking about a 26, but I haven't ever shot one... They don't fit my hand too well, but the size is nice for carrying.

I would hope Glock has the 4th gen 9mm recoil spring assembly issue under control by now... the 26 should be good to go... :D

What class are you taking?

I do have a Gen3 G26 and have had several others over the years. They are great little guns and I've always shot them well ... for me anyway. I am hopeful GLOCK has the spring issue under control now too. I now have a 04 spring for my G19, thanks to one of the instructors, but I haven't installed it yet.

The class yesterday was a Level 2 pistol class with Erik Lund and Tod Litt of USSA.

I had all of my handguns out for a family picture today and noticed that the Walther PPS 9mm is just about the same size as the G36. Now, why couldn't I have thought about that before buying the Walther? Now I'm like, why would I want a 6-round 9mm the size of a G36? Well, I don't. Glad I haven't fired it yet so I can sell it as new and that's what I'm gonna do.

So, that's my reasoning for purchasing the Gen4 G26 from Ed's today. :p

Yes, I'm still ordering the DD AR15 tomorrow. :D

Don't hate me cuz I'm wishy washy! LOL!

Nah. I just wanted to handle one just to see how thin they were. I wouldn't ever own one. If I see you for some other reason between now and then (to install NS on that G26 by chance) I will see the Walther. Otherwise, just sell it. I hope you get your money back.

OK. I got the Walther for $567 shipped + $10 FFL fee. Buds has them for $592. I saw them selling for more at the gun show in Gainesville. Surely I can sell it for what I've got in it. Hopefully...

I never read anywere in this thread about "HOW MUCH" these Gen 4 G26s are selling for?
Planning on picking a G26 up soon but don't want to pay alot for it either..
I just saw a Gen 2.5 G26 sell for $435 with two holsters & two boxes of eldorado starfire complete..
I will handle one in two weeks & see what all the fuss is about..
Thanks!!!
With the GSSF discount from Ed's the total is $489 plus a few cents. $425 for the gun and the rest is taxes and GSSF membership.
