Found a used Glock for sale and it's calling out to me. Anyone know if a Gen 1 slide will work on a Glock 17 Gen 4 receiver?

Im going to say no, just for the fact that the gen 4 frames are milled out larger than other gens due to the larger recoil spring. I could be wrong but I think there would be too much space in the frame and the gen 1 recoil spring could pop off the barrel.
