Does anyone know if you have to buy a conversion barrel to shoot 10mm out of a G30. Our just a G29 barrel? Thanks in advance.

The Complete Glock Reference Guide (3rd Edition), says on page 144 that G29 (10mm subcompact) and G30 (.45 ACP subcompact) barrels are not interchangeable. The slides are interchangeable, however, as are magazines but you also need to change trigger housings and ejectors.

If the book is correct, I guess that means you need a conversion barrel.
