G21 magazine in a G30

I'd like to get a few 13 round mags for my G30 for use at the range. I know there is a spacer that fits the mag to fill the gap on the 13 round but has anyone had any experience with the fit. I'm kinda OCD about smooth lines and things lining up and I just want to get the one that fills it and fits properly. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

i got the g20 mag for my g29 (same size as yours). it's the a-grip one from brownells. it's not a seamless transition (there's a slight gap), but it works fine. no pinching or anything.
fwiw:
i have used a 22 mag in my 27 with a spacer. i've seen pics of those that have been sanded to fit a little better.
it prints much more than the factory 9 with pearce pinkie.

Most I have seen leave a little bit of a gap. So, I guess it just depends on how bad the OCD is?
There is a company called A&G (I think) that makes a sleeve that goes around the mag to make it all feel like one piece. I have one somewhere for using 23 mags in a 27. It works, but it's really not much different than sticking the mag in there without it; however, it does make it where you can't put the mag into the larger gun thus defeating mag interchangeability.
That's a good point jl, but since I only have one Glock (I know that's shameful, but there's a certain 34 that will fit nicely under my Christmas tree), right now it doesnt matter in my case. I can always remove it correct?

Yes. It is removable.

If you decide to shoot a GSSF match, you won't be allowed to use the grip sleeve.
Thanks for the follow up jl. I don't know if I'd use the 30 in a match, for me it's my CCW gun.

the pic i posted is an a&g that slips over the mag and is held in place with a set screw.

i tried it and didn't like it. 27 with the 22 mag, sizewise, may as well carry the 23 if you gotta have more capacity.
Thanks guys. Like I said, I was only considering this for range use since I'm perfectly happy with the fit, feel and capacity when carrying it in it's original configuration. Thanks again for the feedback.
Get a hold of Smitty on ebay - he works for team glock.. he's hooked me up on those in the past but can't remember the brand..
