Well I recently did this G17 for a customer, Chopped to G19 grips specs. I was also finally able to get around to getting some good pics to put up enjoyment. This is pretty much a full house job, reduction, grip chop, mag well cut outs, rounded guard the whole nine yards. Figured It would be a good one to show off. Now for the goods.........TXPO

Nice looking piece of work Lane. Looks interesting, that reduction, Im pro GLOCK grip hump, but would like to know what it feels like in the hand.

The hump is subjective to the shooter. I prefer a straight backstrap. Some folks like the hump for the reasons stated. Depending on the pistol, ie fullsize compact, or subcompact, the hump hits in the wrong spot for some. The fullsize hits me too low in the palm, but the sub compacts hit me in the correct spot. It's really all preference. I have flat mainspring housings on all my 1911's for that reason. Thanks for the positive comments everyone. TXPO
