I put my G34 slide assy on my G26...

Then I put the G34 barrel in the G26

My advice: DONT DO THIS

Nothing broke, but they were both a PITA to get off.

Just 'cause you can, doesn't mean ya should:D

Don't worry, I am just jealous 'cause I only have one Glock. Don't think much will swap with my 870 12g.
LMAO! the only two models where swapping out the uppers works with are the g36 & g30. the upper assemblies are interchangeable between the two. some people have put the g36 slide on their g30's because it's a little lighter.

Kind of the point .... you can't. lol.

I don't recommend swapping things around like this ... esp if you actually plan to do it with live fire.
LOL. I guess the giggles went away very quickly and for a brief moment you ended up with just the first part of your subject line.

LOL. This is true.
I was surprised you got the G34 barrel in the G26.
I have a torch.....I can make anything fit......Getting it to work is a WHOLE different matter.....

It went in there, and the slide went all the way on and clicked in... I could even rack the slide... It was just hard to field strip after it was in there. I bet it would have fired though... just might have broken something after the first shot..lol

the locking lugs are different. that's why you had a time getting the slides off lol

worth a try though, if you're curious about it. certainly won't hurt anything :)

Oh, you mean the lugs on the barrels?

Cause just adding the 34 barrel to the 26, that was less of a PITA to get taken apart than when I put the 34 slide on the 26 frame.

yep, where they lock into the locking block, and where they connect the takedown lever was changed with the slide swapping.
I have to admit that I am a bit surprised to see you trying something like this...

After all the trouble you went through to get a new gun from Glock, to swap barrels into a gun that is certainly not designed for it amazes me...

I am glad someone else said this. I was thinking it already but figured I was causing enough trouble lately.
Curiosity killed the cat. It hasnt killed me yet. Woof woof.

I looked both frames over before hand and didn't see how any damage could be done. Like Don said... It wouldn't have hurt anything, and it didn't.

Maybe it didn't this time but just a word of caution that sometimes small differences won't be seen by eyeballing something but could actually be enough to cause some damage.

I can imagine the look on the faces of the GLOCK folks when you called them to tell them you needed to send in your G26/34 to get them separated ... after having just received the G34 as a replacement a few days ago.

I hear ya. That would be the call of shame for sure. Im not going to try it again...of course. Ill abide by the approved sawappable parts list between the models from now on.
