Just a small post about an excellent book on the gun laws in the State of Florida.

Florida Firearms - Law, Use, & Ownership, by Jon H. Gutmacher, was originally recommended to me by a friend and later recommended again when I took a CWP class at my local gun shop. I just finished reading it from cover to cover and found it an eye opener... The author has many good suggestions along with explanations of the actual law.
The book explains Florida and Federal law on firearms, weapons, and self defense issues. He covers the law and then provides some question and answer examples and then adds advice on what can happen at the scene and later in court.
