Disregard the email about classifieds

Good man. I prefer what you have now .. regular forum style post with a PREFIX for WTS, WTB, etc.

I agree. Plain, simple and to the point.

Just because it is in "upgrade", does not make it better.

I miss the other classifieds section we had going - it'd be cool to do zip code searches, pics w/ each post, etc..

It's YOUR board Rob, if you want to implement something DO IT

In my personal opinion, if this forum did a lot of sales in specific areas, I would like the zip code feature. For example, another gun forum I check out is basically a GA forum. While surrounding areas are members, I'd say the majority are from GA. In that scenario, it's useful to know where someone lives by zipcode or general area (NE, SW, etc) but for here, I just don't think it's worth it.

Then I'd want to be able to search by cup size.

I personally don't think the site has enough Classified traffic to go extravagant with the listing/searching options. Personally, I bypass all forum Classifieds sections if they are overly complicated. I don't want a quick listing for a $50 holster to take me half hour to post or be as complicated as doing my taxes. I exaggerate a little but the last system was bad enough I won't bother if we do that route again.

This one is a lot more user friendly Vol - hope you give it a chance.

I think it will make it a lot easier and faster for users to find what they're looking for - while people listing items can showcase their items a little better in a classifieds format instead of a flat forums type format.

Sorry Rob. I'll have to just agree to disagree. I had a holster to list just now. It took me 5 minutes to find the button to place an Ad then there were way too many things to complete. I just canceled out. It's not worth it to me. I just wanted to cut and paste from the ad I listed on M4C. I've found "finding things" to buy a problem. That's what the SEARCH button is for.

Not a big deal. You guys have at it. I'll just list my stuff elsewhere.

Heh.. Vol (and others that didn't like the new classifieds) will be happy to see that I switched it back to forum-type classifieds instead of fanciness...

I didn't like how I couldn't see classifieds when browsing with tapatalk - and missed the 'last 5' on the main portal page of the site..
