O thats cool. I use to make those all the time while I was deployed. My supply SGT use to buy me 1/4 mile rolls of that stuff cause he had money left on his gov credit card. I used a BDU button on one end and a loop on the other as the clasp. Just for fun, I made a couple like the red and black one on the left in the picture on the left. One was with four chords per side, the outside chords are OD Green and the inside chords are black and it was roughly 5.5 feet long and I put a heavy duty D-Ring on each end. The other was the same style, but its got 6 chords per side and was about 18 inches long, all in OD Green, weaved tightly, made a cool little wacker. LOL, I remember this one mission we went on in a little town south of Baghdad, it was a big friendly area, a buddy of mine and I were walking down the road getting some intel on some insurgents from a local national and another Iraqi popped out in front of us from a blind corner of a building with a knife. There were too many fiendlies around to shoot the attacker, so I grabbed that wacker and planted it across the side of his face, he fell on his a$$ and looked up to 5 M16 barrels in his face. I think he messed himself cause he smelt like sh!t after wards. I was happy to know that it worked and that story still brings a laugh when me or one of my old Army buds brings it up.
