Never had anything cerakoated...

It's popular in the 19/2011 world... Not as much in the Glock world... at least not much that I'm familiar with...

I love Duracoat, it lasts better and is more durable than cerakote for real world applications/use, it is what we use in the military.

Duracoat is available in any color you want, i have seen guys color firearms as nerf guns, storm troopers, and anything you can imagine tactical. if do yourself just remember it is all about prep-work.

I wouldn't do it to a brand new gun unless you can buy cheap. Try it on a trade-in.

Seeing the look on my face he opened the box, it was a pink tiger stripped G42. “Your right, it’s not for me!”

I bought Two Glock19 Gen2 police trade ins. Both had a lot of holster wear, but not much internal wear. The color is Patriot Brown IIRC. Mod1 did the Cerakoting.
