I have a Glock 17. Due to circumstances, I need to replace the receiver with all of its normal parts, numbering 11 items. Where can I purchase what I need?

i would send it into glock. that's the only place i know where you can get one. i think glockmeister advertises them, but they're always out of stock. glock will replace-- they charge $150.

Might I ask what circumstances lead up to you have to replace the receiver?

I bought an entire G17 Generation II frame with all the parts for $149 on GB. Lone Wolf also sells individual OEM parts for Glocks. Just Google "Glock parts".

I'm assuming it doesn't matter to the OP what generation or type of receiver it is at long as it fits whatever type of G17 slide he/she has. degelpe-- if you actually find out if you can get a gen4 frame without having to buy a whole new gun, let me know-- I'm trying to find a new home for my trigger reset kit so that I don't have to keep swapping it out with my stock trigger assembly.

i was assuming the op has a gen3, as he didn't specify. however, the gen4 frames are not compatible with gen 3 uppers. the dust covers are different to match the different slides.

I went through transitions... first I bought the G34 barrel to use in my G17.... then I bought a G34 slide and internals to use with my G17 frame.... and finally bought another G17 frame for a dedicated G34. Additionally, I'm glad it was a 2nd generation frame. I like the sleeker look without the humps and rail.
