Wanting to buy another glock within the next week or two. Never bought a firearm over the internet, I am aware of the procedures and steps throughout the process. My question is...I was going to order this glock thru glockmeister.com and also I was looking at buying a new holster through glockstore.com. If anyone has any experience using these site ordering products or heard of people you actually know using them, I would appreciate any feedback. Just want to make sure there legit and not gonna rip me off before I fork out some big bucks.

never used glockmeister myself, but have heard good things about them. you can actually google "glockmeister customer reviews". i always do that when i'm not sure about a site i've never dealt with before. i want to be sure when i'm giving out my cc info lol

i know budsgunshop.com is good to deal with, really cheap prices too. i have a relative that orders guns on there like a woman on the home shopping network lol, and bud's has been great so far. :)

I've bought a lot of parts through Glockmeister, but never a pistol. They are very prompt, and they actually read your comments on the order, so if you're ordering for a Gen4 pistol they will send you the right parts even if the website isn't up to date. They're one of my first choices for Glock parts because of the completeness of their inventory and their speed and responsiveness.

I've had a similar experience with Glockstore. Very good online system, you get email updates when the order ships along with tracking information, and they ship very quickly as well. The are also one of my first choices.

From what I've read they are a reputable dealer. However, I would bet you can find a better deal than $499 plus shipping.

For instance, joining GSSF and buying through a GSSF dealer would get you a std model ...
$35 annual membership fee (if not already a member)
$425
Tax (if dealer is in your state)
Shipping (if you don't have a dealer within driving distance, within your state ... you'd be paying shipping anyway)
FFL fee charged by your receiving FFL dealer (you'd be paying this already if you order from the link)
plus shipping plus the FFL transfer fee

Your savings wouldn't be a huge amount but it would be enough to upgrade you sights or at least get some ammo.

I have to fondle my guns before buying. I'm sure there are some deals to be had but I've been screwed too many times buying other things online, I won't risk buying a firearm.

I have ordered numerous parts from Glockstore.com with no problems. Delivery is usually 3-4 days. Good service! Never ordered from Glockmeister.
Brownell's also has great service.

agreed. bud's gunshop and mpact guns generally have free shipping, and glocks cheaper than $499 :)

i've looked on glockmeister quite a few times for glock parts i was looking for, but never bought anything because either the price was too high, or the shipping was more than the part itself, or both lol

I purchased my Sig P250 2sum on line, it was a good deal, had it shipped to a local gun shop.
It worked out ok, but be VERY SURE it is the gun you want, because I found it is very hard to return a gun purchased on line.
The gun shop I had mine shipped to, said they could not / would not return ship it, and since I had to do paperwork to get the gun, it was now a used gun, SO BE VERY SURE IT IS THE ONE YOU WANT.

Interesting. It appears some gave several of us "bad" ratings for our posts in this thread. Not sure why. I thought we were being helpful and answering the OP's question. If anyone cares to share their concern privately please do so. I would love to know what is "bad" about suggesting the GSSF program to potential members.

... or someone that was recently banned but re-registered with a new name. Just a theory, of course.
If this is true then I feel like it is high school all over again. Childish if you ask me.

To the OP, I just bought my first Glock online from that GB site. I found a great deal without any complaints. I just took possession Wednesday and fired 200 of assorted grain fmj's without a hiccup. She did need the rear sight adjusted to the right just a hair and by the end there was a ragged hole about an inch above center at 30 ft. I am very happy with my first Glock (something I never thought I would say).

Looking at a g30 sf now - just don't tell the wife.

Yes, it's clearly someone who has an issue with the members of this site as I received a negative rating for my post in this thread when I had the exact opposite opinion of Vol as it relates to buying guns online. For saying that I wasn't comfortable not having a chance to check out the gun beforehand, I was given a negative mark. Silly.

I'm sure they do. I have requested they look into it and see if there is a pattern. If the dings are legit then so be it. If they are the person we suspect ... well, they have ways of knowing that too.

Some folks don't realize the Interweb ain't all that anonymous. When they log in their IP addy is logged. If someone has multiple login accounts but uses the computer it will show. Now, it could be two different folks sharing a PC but that is unlikely.

I have not been dinged by this clueless guy or his referees yet, but after this post I may be! Have nullified all their dings by checking all your posts as helpful. Let's see what happens.
