That sucks. Sorry about your luck hope it gets to feeling better soon. I gashed my strong hand in a couple of places last week and couldn't hardly do anything myself

+1 for off hand practice. That sucks to hear, hope it gets to feeling better soon. I know your pain. I pinched my strong hand thumb between doors back about a week before x-mas. Broke the bone tip and nail and pushed the under nail skin up through the split. Hurt like HECK, I sounded like I had torrets yelling at the jack ass who pulled in the spot next to me, which caused me to get injured. Couldnt do hardly anything with my right hand for two weeks, it hurt so much. Took 10 months for it all to completely heal and the nail to grow back out right.
