I like to run a couple hundred rounds of good quality ammo to see what my Glock 1 likes to eat and 2 Gives me the tightest shot group. Right now I use Speer Lawman for DC. I know alot of gunners like Speer Gold Dot also. Just try diffrent good quality ammo and find what works best for you.

Interesting pic for this thread, IMO --

I carry the Winchester Ranger T's in all my carry guns. Second choice to that would be the Federal HST's, if I could find the darn things.

Carried Golden Sabers before I found the Rangers though, and they functioned very well through the Glocks.

Nice photo, thanks for posting. what caliber and weight are these rounds? I always used to carry Hydroshoks 147gr for my G19, finally found a few boxes of HST's, and just picked up a case of 500 rds of Ranger T's all 147 gr.

Well it depends on the season and which gun Im carrying. That and just what I was able to get at the local gun stores, which tend to be sparse on ammo for some reason.
If its winter, its the only time Ill carry my G20 or G21SF in a shoulder holster because Im wearing bulker clothing. The 20 houses 175gr. Winchester Silvertips and the 21 houses 165gr. Hydra-Shoks.

Ill carry either my G23 or my 2 & 1/8th" S&W M60 .357 no matter the season. I run 180gr Winchester Ranger ammo (which by the rumors Ive heard is what Black Talon use to be). and the M60 wheels Speer Short Barrel 135gr. GDHPs.

And, If Im feeling lucky while playing around out on the country side when its cold, Ill sometimes carry my 6" S&W M57 with 210gr. slugs for bad aminals and bad guy the like of which wanna do me harm.

This. The hunt for the magic bullet is just like the hunt for the magic caliber and the elusive mystifying one shot stop. Find a good quality hollow point that works well in your gun, that you can afford to practice with every once in a while and it will be fine. Worry more about shot placement than the magic bullet or caliber

Im partial to Hornady TAP and Critical Defense, the price isnt too bad and I have never had a single problem with accuracy or dependability in any caliber that ive shot it in.

Always been a big fan of Federal Hydra Shoks, 165 grain for my 23. I prefer the low recoil 135 grain version for my Glock 27. Definitely will have to check out some Rangers.

Been looking and I can not find the Winchester Ranger T's in stock any place and can't find the HST at all, unless I am looking up the wrong ammo. Or I should say are these "Ranger SXT", if so canI get them in 124G that are not +P+?

Also what grain where these?
