I just found out today that my dad has to have a pacemaker put in. He hasnt been very healthy lately and I could tell but hes just the type of guy that holds it all in amd doesnt tell you anything until he has to. Apparently hes been seein a dr about some health problems he has and he wore a heart monitor last week. So his dr calls him at work today an tells him to get to the hospital asap and not to drive. He is spose to have surgery done in the morning so everyone say a prayer for him and keep us in your thoughts. Thanks.

best of luck. i'm sure he'll be fine, my friend. my grandmother just had a pacemaker put in about a month ago. it's actually considered a "routine" surgery nowadays it's done so often.

Amazing that something like that is only one day in the hospital...

Great news guys. The Dr opted to go in and burn out the areas on his heart thats causing the irregular hearbeats friday morning. He came through just fine and is on his way home now. He'll have to wear a heart monitor to see if they got the problem fixed. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.
