If you sign in with facebook on here you can 'like' threads and also share on facebook, etc.. I'll use it now and then - you?

Also, if you're on facebook... you'd better 'fan' us today ;) Click the 'follow us' button on our main page of the site.

No, I'm not a fan of facebook for many reasons...

I realize that I am in the minority, but I don't care...

I don't.

I try to keep my online forums and FB separate. I get tire quickly of random FRIEND requests from people I don't know ... but can normally deduce they are from some gun forum and have figured out my real name through mutual FRIENDs.

I don't let random online people into that part of my world unless I actually know them face-to-face.

Rob, might want to update your INFO tab on the Facebook page. It still shows the old web address.

At lectures I give (8 to ten times /yr in groups of 30 to 75), I generically denounce the use of facebook or myspace. You are not their customer, you are the merchandise! Both are also leading sources of infections and predator havens.

No from here.

I didn't use it for the longest time. I didn't do the other big social website either, whatever it's called. I was on a business trip a few years ago with my boss and I noticed he was checking his Facebook Account. I gave him crap for it and he told me about how many friends from high school that he had reconnected with. Remember we've been out of school for 20 years. So I signed up, limiting what info and such that I put on there and sure enough found tons and tons of old friends that I hadn't talked to in forever.

After the cool factor rubbed off from finding all my old school friends, the fun went away. I rarely ever go there now and could care less. :)

I have a Facebook account but don't like the "permission" I have to give away to become a fan.. Facebook is screwing around with all these privacy issues.. To become a fan I have to "accept" that your Facebook page can access all my info about me, my friends list, etc... NO WAY
This is how facebook is circumventing your own privacy settings..
May be your Facebook site should change into a "group"

Here is the screen
