while being on the net. I like to get on youtube pull up videos minimize them and listen to the music while I am on the forums. Just curious if it is something others do or if I am just different. For example here is what I am listening to at the moment.

My wife is a music junkie. She reads reviews/recs in magazines and then looks up all the bands she reads about online. She hits YouTube, iTunes, etc. You need an iPod or iPhone so you can use Pandora Radio. They might even have site you can play it from on a PC. I've never thought to look.

Pandora is a great service. Free or you can pay a small yearly fee for additional features. I haven't found the need to pay the additional fee yet. You set up "channels" for the types of music you like. Country, Pop, Rock, Heavy Metal, Dance etc.. You then type in artists or song titles for that channel and it will find songs like your examples and play them. The more artists/songs you enter, the more precise the channel will be for you. When it plays songs, you can thumbs up or thumbs down songs to tell the service your likes/dis-likes. You can also skip a song and have it go to the next song, but if you use the free service, you can only use those features so many times per day. Pay for the service and you can use them as often as you like.

I also use You Tube when I want to see videos and listen at the same time.

My problem is I am still addicted to Rock. I will probably be the 50 something year old listening to "kids music" someday. Here is what I am listening to right now the video even goes with being on a gun forum.

Give Pandora a try. Create a Rock channel and enter a few of your favorite artists and see how it does for you.
